I’m SJ, a qualified Personal Trainer, canicross coach, farmers’ wife, and lifelong dog person — and this business grew straight out of life outdoors with my own dogs.
I’ve worked professionally with dogs through my time at Dogs Trust, where I saw first-hand how movement, enrichment, and the right equipment can make a real difference to a dog’s wellbeing. Alongside that, my background as a PT means I care just as much about the human at the other end of the lead — how your body moves, how pressure is distributed, and how to stay comfortable and injury-free while being active with your dog.
As a canicross coach, I spend a lot of time helping people run, walk, and explore safely with their dogs. One thing I see again and again is how poor-quality or badly fitting gear can turn what should be an enjoyable adventure into something uncomfortable, frustrating, or even unsafe — for both dog and owner.
Living and working on a farm has shaped how I see dogs and equipment. We’re outside in all weathers, covering real ground, not just short pavement walks. Gear needs to be durable, functional, comfortable, and fit for purpose — not just look nice on social media.
That’s why I’m so passionate about good-quality dog gear. The right harness, lead, and kit don’t just protect your dog’s body — they make outdoor adventures more enjoyable, more confident, and more fun. When your dog is comfortable and moving well, you relax too. And that’s when the magic happens.
Everything I stock and recommend is chosen with real life in mind: muddy paths, long days outside, strong dogs, tired legs, and the joy of sharing the outdoors together.
If you love being active with your dog — whether that’s walking, running, exploring, or just getting outside more — you’re in exactly the right place.
